The Great Coromandel Dream Ride

Departure details to follow.

In years past Hotel du Vin, now a Dilworth School extension, was a fine first stop.

But we can do much better than school cafeteria food.

Any suggestions for a dignified morning tea stop?

And lunch stop?

    Reckon we stop at 1st "eligible" café on route...Clevedon is probably too early (7am?) - maybe some luck towards Miranda or one on the Hauraki Plains.

    Thames seems to work well as a 2nd break - a good distance out from Coromandel....

    For a change how about we do the scenic route via Orere Point? That way you get the great fish and chip shop near Miranda
